Dining with the Maharajas showcases the rich culinary traditions of the royal families of Hyderabad, Jammu and Kashmir, Jodhpur, Mahmudabad, Mysore, Patiala, Rampur, Sailana, Tripura and Udaipur, and, in the process, presents the variety and distinctness of royal cuisines. With recipes of around 100 dishes, it peeks into their royal kitchens—each representing different regional flavours of India. Some of these are secret recipes that have never been published before. The book released earlier this month.
